constructionIn conjunction with our Network Design Services, Rohl Geomatics has the resources to construct and/or maintain any sized telecommunication project. Construction services include project management, contract inspection, cable plowing, boring, trenching, splicing and testing.

 

 

Current and past projects include:

  • Design, draft, permit and build a wholly-owned fiber optic network from Edmonton, AB to Fort St. John, BC. (650 kilometers)
  • Plow HPDE duct and jet 450 kilometers of fiber optic cable from St. Albert, AB to Fort McMurray, AB
  • Design, GPS, draft, permit and build a 400 kilometer section of fiber optic cable for a major communication company in Alberta.
  • Project Manage, construct and splice CATV fiber optic networks in numerous communities in the Province of Alberta.
  • Design, GPS and draft 2,500 kilometers of fiber optic cable within the Province of Alberta for the SuperNet project.
  • Provided maintenance services for 5,000 kilometers of the Alberta SuperNet network. This was a five-year contract which included routine maintenance, emergency restoration, Alberta One Call screening and locate services, as well as new network builds.
  • Numerous Turn-Key fiber optic cable network builds for third-party telecommunication companies and municipalities within Alberta.
